5:00pm to 7:15pm

For our annual meeting we are scheduling it as an dinner meeting across from the Hyline Ferry dock. We are arranging for complimentary passage from Nantucket and Oak Bluffs for the Island Selectmen on Hyline Ferry. We will be meeting in the upstairs room at the Harborview Restaurant. The meeting will start with social time (cash bar) and dinner at 5:45. The program will follow with our normal items of business plus introduction of newly elected selects and annual meeting items. Following those agenda items we will have a fisheries presentation. At the end of the meeting plan to stay a while to continue to socialize with Cape and Island selectmen. Nantucket Selects will depart on the 8:40 ferry and Vineyard Selects will be transported to Woods Hole to take the 8:30 ferry.

By-law Proposal

A Proposed Amendment to the Cape Cod and the Islands Selectmen’s and Councilor’s Association By Laws, regarding Section 6. Dues:

Current By Law, as amended June 09, 2017:

6. Dues

6.1. The annual dues for each Selectman or Councilor shall be $50, payable July 1st.

6.2. The annual dues for each Associate and Affiliate member shall be $35, payable July 1st.

Suggested Amendment:

6.1. The annual dues for each Selectman or Councilor shall be set by the Executive Board annually at the May Meeting, payable July 1st.

Directions  - Directions- Take either exit 6 or 7 from route 6 (depending on whether approaching from east or west) and proceed to Ocean St. in Hyannis Port. Parking (15 to 20 spaces0 is available behind the Restaurant. Additional Parking is available on the west side of town hall located between Main and South Streets, approximately 5 minute walk to restaurant.
